This is a fun and powerful tribal deck packed with some of the biggest sphinxes across magic’s multiverse. Yennett is the perfect general to lead these sphinxes into battle because of her ability to cast them for free! Every time Yennett attacks, you get to cast the top card of your library for free if your mana value is odd, and since every card in this deck has an odd mana value, you can cast them all for free with Yennett’s ability. There are also a ton of cards that let you manipulate the top of your library to guarantee that you get an absolutely ridiculously powerful spell on top. For example, In Garruk’s Wake has a mana value of 9. That makes it incredibly difficult to cast if it is in your hand. However, a card like Penance will let you place In Garruk’s Wake on top of your library right before Yennett attacks. Then, when Yennett attacks, boom! All of your opponents’ creatures are dead in an instant. This is unbelievable value to be able to do this all for free! Once you’ve decimated your opponents’ hopes and dreams, you’ll have no problem flying over whatever defenses they have left to claim victory for your sphinx army!
