If you’ve never seen “Nekusar” in action, you might be thinking, “Free cards?! That ‘Nekusar’ is such a nice guy!” and hopefully your opponents will feel the same way. Until a couple turns later, when their hands are full and “Nekusar” continues to shove cards in their face, like a friend shoving pie into your pie-hole, until you can’t breathe and die. I promise you, “Nekusar” is brutal. Not only will he machine gun down your opponents’ life totals as he forces cards into their hands, but there are plenty of other cards in this deck that punish your opponents for drawing all of these cards. There are also plenty of ways, besides “Nekusar “to jam cards into your opponents’ hands to maximize the damage of these card-draw triggers. There are some ridiculous combos hidden in this deck. Also, “Peer into the Abyss” combos with “Nekusar” to immediately end the game for one of your opponents. “Phyresis” gives “Nekusar” infect, which reduces the amount of damage necessary to eliminate your opponents to only 10. “Helm of the Ghastlord”, “Tandem Lookout”, or “Curiosity”, turn “Nekusar” into a card-draw machine, or they can be paired with “Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind” to form an infinite loop that will machine gun down your opponents while you draw as many cards as you want from your library. This deck has tons more combos and synergies than what I’ve listed, but my fingers are getting tired, so I’ll end it there. Trust me, though, “Nekusar” is absolutely brutal.
