Yurlok resurrects the long-dormant “mana burn” rule by giving every player explosive—but dangerous—bursts of mana. We lean into that chaos with group-hug ramps ( Zhur-Taa Ancient, Heartbeat of Spring ) and group-slug punishers ( Manabarbs, Power Surge ) so opponents either waste the mana or watch it burn their life totals away.
